Citric Acid is widely used as pH adjuster, flavouring, preservative, decalcification agent and emulsifier. Used in food products (carbonated soft drinks, confectionary, effervescent tablets, etc.), cleaning and personal hygiene products and metal processing.
Colourless/white crystals – with no odour - with a strong acidic taste (lemon). Very soluble in water.
